Dr. Yesse Perez Cacciatore, DMD
Dr. Yesse earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Western University College of Dental Medicine and went on to complete a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas in San Antonio. During her residency, she received extensive training in behavior management, sedation techniques, hospital dentistry, and caring for children with special healthcare needs. Since completing her specialty training, she has worked in private practice, treating infants, children, and adolescents from a wide range of backgrounds. She now brings that experience to Acorn Dentistry for Kids, where her focus is on creating a welcoming, positive environment that helps kids feel safe and confident about their dental health.
Dr. Yesse was drawn to Acorn for its mission to create a nurturing, child-centered experience that goes beyond clinical care. “Early dental visits should build trust, confidence, and a lifelong foundation for oral health,” she shares. Acorn’s commitment to the idea that “Every Child Gets a Smile” resonated deeply with her own values.
A big sister to many and a lifelong lover of working with children, Dr. Yesse found her calling in pediatric dentistry early on. She cherishes the chance to shape positive experiences for young patients and to be a calm, encouraging presence during every visit. Whether helping a nervous child leave with a smile, providing special needs care, or turning oral hygiene lessons into something fun, she’s passionate about making a lasting impact.
Outside the office, Dr. Yesse enjoys hiking, baking, beach days, and spending time with her nephews in Southern California. She’s fluent in English and Spanish, and is currently learning Italian—one more way she hopes to connect with families from all backgrounds.
