Dr. Kaylin, DMD
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Kaylin always knew she wanted a career rooted in science and service. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Eastern Illinois University in 2011, she went on to complete dental school at UMKC in 2016. Her journey then took her to Denver, Colorado, where she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the VA. She spent the next five years caring for patients 21 and under, where her passion for working with children truly took root.
While Colorado offered beautiful mountain views and meaningful experiences, Dr. Kaylin felt called to further specialize in pediatric dentistry. She returned to St. Louis to complete her pediatric residency at St. Louis University, graduating in 2024. During this time, she deepened her commitment to creating positive, confidence-building dental experiences that help children feel safe and empowered.
Though she is proudly Midwestern at heart, Dr. Kaylin had long been drawn to the Pacific Northwest. After traveling to the region over the years, she fell in love with its natural beauty and adventurous spirit. When she discovered Acorn, everything aligned. The mission and values reflected her own, and the opportunity to practice in one of her favorite places in the country made it the perfect fit.
Dr. Kaylin loves pediatric dentistry because every day is a new adventure. She appreciates the lighthearted energy children bring into the office and feels honored to be part of those important first dental visits that set the foundation for a lifetime of comfort and confidence.
Outside of work, Dr. Kaylin is passionate about travel and food. She enjoys experimenting with new recipes at home, exploring local restaurants, and planning her next adventure. When she is not in the kitchen or on the road, you will likely find her spending time with her dogs, enjoying friends and family, or embracing the outdoors in every season through running, hiking, or snowboarding.
