Dr. Zuzzanna Rossa

Dr. Zuzanna was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a pianist, but beyond music she also loved visiting the dentist, an experience that ultimately inspired her to pursue dentistry herself.

After dental school, Dr. Zuzanna served for four years as a dentist in the United States Navy, including an assignment aboard an aircraft carrier. After leaving the Navy, she began caring for children in private practice and quickly fell in love with pediatric dentistry. She later worked with the Indian Health Service on the Navajo Nation, where she continued providing dental care to children. Inspired to make pediatric dentistry her specialty, she completed her pediatric dental residency in Missouri.

Coming from a large family and having worked with children throughout her life, Dr. Zuzanna has always enjoyed their energy and sense of fun. Her favorite part of pediatric dentistry is building lasting relationships with children, parents and entire families while helping young patients develop positive feelings about dental care.

Dr. Zuzanna fell in love with Oregon during a visit and knew it was where she wanted to settle. She jokes that she has always been an Oregonian at heart! She was drawn to Acorn Dentistry for Kids because of its welcoming, family-focused atmosphere and the meaningful work the team does for children.

Outside the office, Dr. Zuzanna enjoys hiking, taking long walks and exploring Oregon’s natural beauty. She also loves a good book, movie or television show, working out, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
